SM & YG Entertainment are living under the same roof?
Through SBS’ new variety program “Roommate”, 2NE1′s member Park Bom and EXO’s Chanyeol were placed in an unavoidable situation where they had to start living in the same house.
There were couple of times that YG and SM artists appear on the same show but it’s extremely rare that they gather together at one place and live together.
It has been five years since Park Bom debuted as a member of 2NE1 but she didn’t have much appearances on variety shows. Meanwhile, although still a newbie, Chanyeol has been chosen to be a member on SBS’ “Law of the Jungles” where he had to go to Micronesia.
6 days of living together under the same roof has started for the two artists. 2NE1 and EXO are not from the same company so the attention is focused on the atmosphere of their meeting.
According to the PD of the show, Park Bom and Chanyeol gave off an awkward atmosphere during the first filming of the show. But after a moment, Chanyeol who’s the junior came first to Bom and gave his greetings. Being the representative artists of SM & YG in the show, there is great pressure.
Park PD said “Park Bom, Chanyeol and other artists aren’t interacting much so we expected that it will be totally awkward. However as time goes by, we saw how good it is to see them together. It was a fun filming.”
Aside from Park Bom and Chanyeol, other artists Lee Dong Wook, After School’s Nana, Shin Sung Woo, Lee Sora, Hong Suhyeon, Song Gayeon, Jo Seho, and Park Min Woo will also come out on the show.
