Park Bom revealed the secret story behind her audition in YG Entertainment.
On April 3rd, 2NE1 showcased their brilliant talking skills as they appeared as guest on MBC ‘FM4U’.
Park Bom revealed on the radio show, “I auditioned every month (in YG) for three years. If i’ll sum it up, I think I tried to audition dozens of times.”
DJ Kim Shin Young then asked “Why do you think were you rejected that time?” and Park Bom replied “I don’t know. The first time that I tried to audition, I sang Christina Aguilera’s “I turn to You”. I already forgot the lyrics.”
Park Bom added “I never tried to audition at other companies. President Yang kept on rejecting me so I got angry at him. But I thought that if I’ll follow him, I will succeed. I wanted to get President Yang Hyun Suk’s approval”.
