On the May 25 of SBS’ Sunday variety program “Roommate,” 2NE1 member Park Bom unexpectedly shed tears, surprising everyone.

Park Bom came back to the house late that she and 10 other celebrities are sharing as “roommates.” On her late return, the other housemates, in a surprise interview style, asked her if she came late because she was on date, to which Park Bom replied, “I want to date.” She was then asked who she wanted to date among her housemates, and Park Bom picked Park Min Woo. 

Park Bom then went to the bathroom and started crying. In her interview, she cries and says, “Might have gotten hurt…” before the episode ended. Viewers and fans will have to wait until next week to find out why Park Bom cried.

On the 27th, KBS 2FM “Yoo In Na’s Turn the Volume Up” radio’s official twitter account tweeted two photos with the caption “Bomborobombom Park Bom’s thank you for the intense and lively support!”.

The online edition of the American Billboard unveiled on May 27 (local date) the details of the interview with 2NE1, precisely about the quartet breaking chart records, their 5th anniversary and the music video.

Park Bom from K-pop girl group 2NE1 shed tears when talking about being lonely in the June 1 episode of SBS-TV reality show “Roommate.”

In the fifth episode, the women on the show — After School member Nana, actress Hong Su-hyun, model Lee So-ra, entertainer Song Ga-yeon and Park — gathered in a room to have a deep conversation.

Asked whether Park had any stars close to her, the vocalist said, “2NE1 members have no close celebrities. Nobody approached us. I don’t know what to do.

“Our members are timid. We are freaks who are crazy about only one thing, so we don’t look around,” she said.

Park also added that they don’t know how to get closer to people as they are “innocent,” which might be the reason why they sometimes look “ill-mannered.”

Producer Park Sang Hyuk of SBS variety show ‘Roommate’ talked about the close relationship between cast members 2NE1′s Park Bom and After School’s Nana.

When asked if the two were actually close, the producer replied, “Park Bom and Nana’s relationship was the most unexpected. Right now, they got a lot closer. To tell the truth, after my first impression of the two, I thought that they might not get along to the very end. However, they surprisingly get along so well to the point you could view them as the best of friends.”

The anticipation over the upcoming episode of “Roommate” is building thanks to 2NE1 member Park Bom.

“Roommate” is a reality show which houses 11 South Korean celebrities under the same roof. On this program, Park Bom has received a lot of attention as a member of 2NE1, and the developing romantic plotlines between her and several male residents.
